Educational tool 'Europe@school' for the European Parliament Ambassador School programme

The didactic tool '28 in 1', a modular tool about the EU with different active methods is being updated, further developed and further translated for use in all EU member states. The updated and EU version is called 'Europe@school - Active lessons about the European Union'.

In 2015, Europe house Ryckevelde developed the original modular tool '28 in 1'  in Dutch and French for secondary schools in Belgium, on the request of the European Parliament Information Office in Belgium. Since then, the material was downloaded over 1.000 times, which raised the interest of the European Parliament. The tool is now being developed for schools in the European Parliament Ambassador School programma. and translated into the 24 official languages of the EU.

Seminars for teachers within the 'European Parliament Ambassador School' Programme 2017-2019

The EPAS Programme aims to encourage and strengthen Europe education in the EU member states. EP Ambassador School teachers (called seniors) can participate in the EPAS seminars, organised by the European Parliament. Here, 100 ‘senior ambassadors’ from different EU countries come to Brussels for a seminar in the framework of the EPAS programme of the European Parliament. In order to inspire the participants and give them the opportunity to exchange good practices and create new ideas together, Europe House Ryckevelde runs the workshop “Tips and inspiration for implementing the EPAS programme”, and the workshop "exchange of good pracices". The overall objective of the workshops is to inspire the EPAS seniors with new methods and approaches to teach on EU matters in the EPAS Programme and to share best practices on the implementation of EPAS. The workshops are held 5 times per year.
